About Manip Poudel
I'm a DevOps Team Lead and Cloud Infrastructure Engineer based in Bharatpur, Nepal. I work remotely with international teams, currently leading infrastructure operations at wesionaryTEAM — a software company headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
Over the past 4+ years, I've built, automated, and secured cloud-native systems used in production by businesses across multiple industries. My focus is on making infrastructure invisible: reliable, secure, and fully automated so development teams can ship with confidence.
I approach infrastructure the way I approached my backend engineering roots — programmatically. Every infrastructure change that can be expressed as code, should be. Every deployment that can be automated, is. Every security boundary that can be enforced at the pipeline level, will be.
I started as a backend developer at NAXA, building geospatial REST APIs with Python, Django, and PostGIS. That foundation — understanding how developers think, what they need from infrastructure, and how production systems actually behave — shapes how I design DevOps systems today. From there, I joined Leapfrog Technology's DevOps program, then moved to wesionaryTEAM where I've grown into the DevOps Team Lead role, owning infrastructure decisions across 10+ concurrent production environments.
I hold the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate and HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (003) certifications — tools I use in production every day. I'm open to remote DevOps, Cloud, and SRE roles, as well as international relocation opportunities.
